<p>This research investigate the concept of nakirah and ma'rifat in sharaf through a semantic approach, especially referential theory. Sharaf as a branch of Arabic language science has an important role in understanding the structure and form of words, while semantics provides a more contextual and philosophical approach to meaning. By utilizing referential theory, this research aims to explore how nakirah and ma'rifat word forms not only have grammatical differences, but also demonstrate referential relationships in linguistic context. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of a number of Arabic texts in sharaf books. The results indicate the nakirah form tends to show a meaning is general and not specific, while ma'rifat leads to a meaning is more certain and identified. These findings enrich the understanding of the dynamics of meaning in the morphological structure of Arabic and show the relevance of integration between the science of sharaf and semantic theory in Arabic linguistic studies. Therefor, the interpretation of a word's meaning depends not only on its grammatical form, but also on the accompanying context.</p>M Rofii

<p>This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of ‘Talk or Dare" media in improving speaking skills (maharah kalam) of students at Junior High School Al-Ittihadiyah Canggu, Badas, Kediri. The problem of this study is the low active participation of students in learning kalam caused by conventional methods that are less motivation This type of research is quantitative research using Pre Experimental Design using the method. One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design The procedure of conducting education is to plan education, implement education, and evaluate education. the subjects of this research are students in the eighth grade of Junior High School Canggu Badas Kediri. The research techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and test. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, t-test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 21. A sample of 25 students. The results of the research show that the level of reading ability or mastery of students is relatively high using the Talk or Dare method. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, the p-value is 0.00 < 0.05, which means that there is a statistically significant difference before and after the treatment is given. This shows that the Talk or Dare method, in the context of this study, has a strong impact on improving students' speaking ability in Arabic language learning.</p>Nunik ZuhriyahM Irsya Faishal UlyaM Zunaidul Muhaimin

<p>One of Khalil Gibran's most influential works is the novel Broken Wings, first published in 1912. The novel tells a tragic love story hindered by social structures and religious authority, illustrating how pure love can be destroyed by inhumane norms. This study aims to analyze the intrinsic elements within Broken Wings. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data sourced from the novel itself and relevant scholarly journals. The data were analyzed using techniques of data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Gibran presents a literary work that is not only emotionally resonant but also rich in social critique, particularly toward oppressive traditions and religious domination that restrict individual freedom. By blending Eastern spirituality with Western rationalism, Gibran voices the struggle of sincere love against repressive power and societal norms. Intrinsic elements such as plot, character, and poetic language enhance the novel's moral messages of sincerity, sacrifice, and personal freedom. This study concludes that Broken Wings is more than a personal narrative—it serves as a mirror reflecting broader social realities, making it highly relevant to the discourse of modern Arabic literary criticism. Through a humanistic and progressive literary approach, Gibran paves the way for a transformation in Arabic literature, encouraging a freer, more critical, and universal mode of expression. <p>This study examines the effectiveness of using the Ludo game to improve Arabic speaking skills among 9th-grade students at SMP IT Cipansor, Tasikmalaya. A quasi-experimental method was employed using a pre-test and post-test design with two groups: an experimental group using the Ludo game and a control group receiving conventional instruction. Data were collected through Arabic-speaking tests and observation sheets. The results revealed a significant improvement in the speaking skills of the experimental group compared to the control group. These findings suggest that the Ludo game fosters an interactive and enjoyable learning environment, encouraging student participation and boosting their confidence in speaking Arabic. The study implies that integrating educational games such as Ludo into Arabic language instruction can be an innovative strategy to promote a communicative and collaborative classroom atmosphere.</p>Ade Arip ArdiansyahFaridha Halwa HumairaHipni Mubarok
