Abstrak

Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata educates its students to live simply. With the changing times, simple living is no longer inherent in the students of the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Quran Education Park (Taman Pendidikan Quran). Female students are influenced by current fashion trends. Luxury, which is increasingly becoming a tradition embedded in the students, causes them to forget the identity of a santri (student) taught by past scholars. A guardian's complaint was heard, stating that their child in the pesantren is very extravagant, making it difficult for the guardian to finance their child's stay. Therefore, due to this issue, the author became interested in conducting research on the role of class savings in forming the economic attitude of students at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Quran Education Park from a Sharia economic perspective. In this context, there is a need for research on how class savings play a role in forming the economic independence of students from a Sharia economic perspective. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The sample for this research is 10 female students from the third grade of the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Quran Education Park. The analysis and data methods are comprehensive and thorough, with data processing techniques using editing and organizing. Based on the results of this research, class savings at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Quran Education Park have a significant impact on forming students' economic independence. Class savings also have an educational value, teaching students responsibility, discipline, and financial management, creating a learning environment that supports practical economic education, empowering students in practical economic education, improving management skills, strengthening camaraderie, a source of funds for large activities, and pesantren economic stability
