Abstract

When learning Arabic, students are required to have one of the basic skills for continuous learning in the classroom, namely Mah?rah kal?m. Mah?rah kal?m is the ability to pronounce Arabic well based on articulation to express or convey thoughts, feelings and ideas. The gap in methods in learning Arabic is one of the obstacles that causes a gap between expectations and reality in learning Arabic, especially in speaking skills, because methods are the path taken by a teacher to provide lessons to students. This research use descriptive qualitative approach. The type of research used is a case study. Case studies are a type of qualitative research that examines in detail a setting, document, person, or event. This type of case study research and qualitative research methods were used to collect data about the current conditions of NU Kajen Vocational High School, especially regarding the Arabic language learning process using the audiolingual method in mah?rah kal?m, as well as the results of using the method. As a result, the application of the audiolingual method in teaching mah?rah kal?m in class Apart from that, students are becoming more fluent in reading and pronouncing Arabic without using intonation like reading the Al-quran again
